Anne Hathaway at “WeCrashed” Set in Chinatown, NY

She plays the wife of former billionaire Adam Neumann in the upcoming Apple TV series about the rise and fall of his company WeWork. The actress opted for a relaxed look as she arrived on Friday on the set of the series. Hataway showed off a hint of her tummy in a slinky black crop top as she arrived on Friday.

Anne kept her look simple with a pair of low-waisted charcoal jeans she teamed with comfortable black leather slippers. She wore her voluminous brunette locks parted in the middle with her large black sunglasses, and she carried a water bottle to keep hydrated between takes and a bright red mask. Anne had her nails painted black to match her shorts and black suede boots. She later changed into a costume with a blue and grey frilly dress that showed off her toned legs.

Anne plays Rebekah Neumann, cousin of Gwyneth Paltrow and wife of co-founder and CEO Adam Neumann of WeWork. Anne brought a large face mask decorated with colorful stickers to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says Americans should go to many situations to get vaccinated and go makeup-free, but in this case, Anne and her film crew played it safe by disguising themselves.

The company that created the elegant office space was valued by Goldman Sachs once at $90 billion but was later scrapped according to the New York Post. WeWork scrambled after concerns about Neumann’s self-dealing and drug use came to light in 2019, and he was forced to leave the company with a huge golden parachute that included $245 million in stock, $200 million in cash and the refinance of a $432 million loan, the Wall Street Journal reported. Meanwhile, Rebekah Neumann was also forced to resign from WeGrow, the Manhattan school she founded after her behavior came to light. Anne will be joined by her businessman husband, Oscar-winner and musician Jared Leto, who will be working with them for the first time.

While Anne is best known for her film career, she would be experimenting with streaming TV shows without a long-term commitment. In 2019, she appeared in two episodes of the Amazon Prime anthology Modern Love, based on a New York Times column of the same name. And earlier this year she appeared in the streaming series Solos, a sci-fi series in which Morgan Freeman plays a man who steals several people’s memories. She plays one of his victims, a scientist who explores time travel. Earlier this year she starred alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor in the HBO movie Lock Up. They played a couple living in London during the COVID-19 lockdown, and the film turned into a heist scene in which they work together to steal precious diamonds.

Earlier this week, Deadline reported that the actress, who plays a divorced mother, attended the Coachella music festival at Amazon Studios for the production of the Robinne Lee novel I Have No Idea Where You Are.
